All the work is in making the little patties that can be done in a cinch.
2 pounds ground beef
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
2 tsp worcestershire sauce
Mix it up really good. Lay wax paper out on your counter top. Smash the meat and roll out with a rolling pin until about 1/4 inch thick. Then, cut out your patties like you would sugar cookies. I use a drinking glass. You could also use a biscuit cutter or mason jar ring, anything that is about 2 1/2- 3 inch diameter. Place the patties on a cookie sheet. Bake on 375 for 10 minutes.
In the mean time get your rolls (buns) ready.
3 dozen dinner rolls (You can use my simple dinner roll recipe found here .)
mayonase, or your favorite sandwich spread
and any other topping you desire; pickles, mushrooms, peppers, etc.
Slice all your rolls in half and line up in rows. Top one side of each with all your burger fixings. When the burgers are out of the oven, put patties on top. Cover with top half of the roll and serve. The kids LOVE that they are little. But don’t let that fool you. They will eat more than one.
