Build Your Own Cupcake Stand

I needed a little pick-me-up project, not to mention that my January birthday babies needed a sweet treat!

On a budget, and not wanting to spend much money, I went for a quick dollar store craft! I decided to make a three-tiered stand, perfect for so many things; cupcakes, cookies, appetizers, and anything else I want to display.

It took maybe 10 minutes to make. Here’s how to make it. Purchase three plates, different sizes and color of your liking. I chose a nice, versatile blue, so I can add ribbons and other accents for special occasions and holidays. If you can’t find a color you like, I’m sure you could buy plain white and paint them. You will also need two glass candle sticks and some glass friendly glue. My favorite is E6000 and you can pick it up at Walmart.buiding a cupcake stand

Glue the candlesticks and plates together.

And there it is! I’m so excited with the way it turned out.cupcake stand

It’s super simple to do and definitely took my mind off things, and I’ll have a lot of fun using it throughout the year, not to mention the kids LOVED having a sweet after-school treat!
